Finalmente: muchas gracias a Emilie Autumn por ser una compañera de viaje tan genial y a Die Mannequin por
unirsenos el viernes. Los shows fueron muy divertidos. Tenemos suerte de tener una audiciencia como la que tenemos.. No podemos agradecerle lo suficiente a la
gente por comprar nuestra musica y merchandising (nos ayuda mucho), por ser amistosos, por no importarles
nada, por traer golosinas, muffins, dibujos, amor y afghans (mantas). Gracias, gracias, gracias.

Los tatuajes de chibi
chibi es el nombre que reciben las versiones menores de los personajes de los dibujos manga,
ya sean niños pequeños o directamente bebés. Este fue el nombre
artístico que decidió adoptar la cantante. Así que, como comprobaréis,
ciertos aires del manga y de la cultura japonesa son recogidos en
algunos de sus tatuajes.
Así sucede con los tatuajes de sus brazos. En el izquierdo uno de
grandes dimensiones y de gran estética manga combinado con ciertos
toques góticos, como las alas o ese oscuro cielo abierto que asoma en la
parte superior. En su antebrazo derecho, además de dos pequeños
tatuajes simétricos, podemos ver una muñeca más caricaturizada con un
uniforme que recuerda a los de las escuelas japonesas. Esto se acerca un
poco a la indumentaria que emplea la propia Chibi en algunos conciertos
o podemos asociarlo también con la estética conjunta del grupo, como se
puede apreciar en su vídeo de Looking Glass.
Su tatuaje del brazo derecho es similar en estilo. De nuevo
un personaje femenino y alado de tendencias manga, infundido en un
uniforme de guerra. En este caso va acompañado incluso de una
inscripción japonesa que, sintiéndolo mucho, no hemos podido descifrar
aún.
Para concluir, el tatuaje de su pierna si presenta cierto cambio en
cuanto a su estilo. Se trata de algo similar a una dama demoníaca o un
súcubo. No es una figura con tantos detalles pero si podemos sacar de
ella una apreciación importante. Con esto me refiero a que esa figura de
mujer en esa postura y con vestido largo recuerda y mucho a la portada
de su álbum Pins and Needles (2010)

Our fellow Torontonias are coming down to melt faces with us at the Opera House tomorrow eve. STOKED! Tickets available at the door tomorrow are reduced to only $20. Plus, if you pre-ordered tickets for the show... they will be refunded and you can enter for $20... so all you lovely people who bought ahead will also pay less.

::Toronto show Line-up change:: As you may have heard by now, our new, dear friends in Emilie Autumn are unable to attend. However we are still playing -and- we are currently working on possibly adding other acts to the event. We will post more details as soon as we have them.
It was a great tour with EA and we're sad we didn't get our last show together. We will have to do it again someday. Thank you to her, her performers and crew for being great... And thanks to the USA for having us for some wicked shows once again.
